We operate globally and respect the privacy rights of users in all regions, including the GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), LGPD (Brazil), and others.

1.1. Data You Provide Directly

• Scanned Content: When you scan a QR code containing a URL, we process that URL to check its safety. We do not store the content of your scans on our servers; the scan history is stored locally on your device.
• Support Inquiries: If you contact us via email, we collect your email address and message content to respond to your request.

1.2. Automatically Collected Data

• Device Information: We may collect limited technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, language preference) to ensure the App functions correctly.
• Purchase History: If you subscribe to our Premium service, we receive anonymous purchase confirmation data from Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) via our payment processor, RevenueCat. We do not receive your credit card details or billing address.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

• Service Provision: To scan QR codes and analyze URLs for security threats.
• Security Analysis: To check URLs against third-party threat intelligence databases (Google Safe Browsing, APIVoid).
• Account Management: To manage your subscription status and grant access to premium features.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App:

• RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions. (See RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
• Google Safe Browsing: Analyzes URLs for threats. URLs are anonymized where possible. (See Google Privacy Policy)
• APIVoid: Provides advanced reputation analysis for Premium users.

4. International Data Transfers

Our servers and service providers may be located in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to the processing and transfer of your information in and to the U.S. and other countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border transfers.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EU, UK, Brazil, California), you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Access & Correction: You can access and correct your local scan history directly within the App.
• Deletion: You can delete your scan history by clearing the App data or uninstalling the App. Since we do not store your scan history on our servers, uninstalling the App removes this data.
• Opt-Out: You can manage your subscription and marketing preferences via your device settings (Apple ID or Google Account).

6. Data Retention

We retain your subscription status as long as your account is active. Scan history is retained locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Regional Specific Provisions

8.1. California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information as defined by California law. You have the right to request deletion and access to your data.

8.2. China (PIPL)

We process personal information based on the necessity for providing the scanning service. For cross-border transfers, we ensure compliance with PIPL requirements. You may exercise your rights by contacting us at the email below.

8.3. India (DPDP)

We act as a Data Fiduciary for the information provided. You have the right to nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
